I love my ocelot, however, my pedal assist does not initiate each time I ride it. It was just an occasional miss but now not at all. I am 70 in good health but I have to use my throttle if I need assistance. This was a mother's day gift from my husband, 2023. Wish I could get it fixed we both love riding our bikes.

I bought 2 white Ocelots, so my husband and I could ride, we are in our 60’s. We loved riding them. In March 2024, we were packing to go to our Grandson’s Air Force boot camp graduation in TX. My husband said “Let’s take a ride. You’ve been working hard all day.” So we did. We always ride with helmets lit, and bike lights on, even in daylight, I normally only use pedal assist ONLY to cross busy roads, I try to pedal to stay in shape. About an hour in, we were in our neighborhood, in our correct lane, 3 feet from the curb, going around a curve, I saw a SUV just miss my husband, I tried to move over but he was coming fast, head on, completely in my lane. I said “Please Lord No!” The crash sounds like 2 big trucks crashing, it’s so loud. Very different from what I heard. Before I went flying with my bike still between my legs. Landed on the cement curb. I am so thankful to be ALIVE. A neighbor lady came and sat beside me, bless her, while my poor husband was flipping out. We’ve been together since 1978, my 1st BF, he thought I was killed. I never screamed or cried l was in shock I guess and kept saying to the Driver I can’t be hurt. I can’t miss my grandson‘s graduation. I’ve already paid for everything. So I can’t be hurt. Guy was driving his GF’s suv, he had no insurance. My beautiful wonderful Ocelot E-bike is totaled. My whole body swelled and turned purple, black and blue, severe concussion and they say whiplash I can’t drive my car, and I broke my foot. But I can say I believe the bike helped, by being so sturdy. Wondering if we can buy parts to fix my bike. I am really hoping to ride again by Fall. I love my bike. I want to do the mountain rail trails in VA. If I can’t rebuild, I may look into the Deer with softer suspension ride, may be easier on me now. I just feel that Magicycle made a fun, useful and safe bike. Now I will need pedal assist even more. I am going through Physical Therapy for severe whiplash now, next will be for my foot, also pt for severe concussion and therapy for PTSD, but not going to give up riding if I can help it. Love my bike, I’m not happy about the fact that it did not come with the free bike rack and they didn’t mention it was out of stock, so I had to call to ask why it wasn’t with the bike, still waiting on it a month later. Still no rack!

Well, folks, the rumors are true! My Magicycle Ocelot lives up to the hype. Powerhouse motor cuts through hills effortlessly, and the battery holds a charge like nobody's business. Plus, the step-thru frame is a lifesaver for my old knees. You won't regret this one!

But with way less sweat! Tackles inclines like a champ, and the step-thru design is fantastic. A total game-changer for getting around town!!!
